Greetings to all MAB Youth,
The MAB Youth Networks and UNESCO are preparing for COP15 of the Convention on Biological Diversity, and we’re wanting to directly consult with the young people of the MAB Programme to hear your ideas and experiences.
Whether you’ve engaged with past MAB events at National or International levels discussing the Convention on Biological Diversity, such as the 2nd MAB Youth Forum; whether you’re an academic or policy professional working on the Post-2020 Framework; or whether you’re interested in learning more about the Convention, our consultation wants to hear from you!
Our consultation will begin with a 15 minute overview of the Convention on Biological Diversity and the Post-2020 Process, before we move onto 45 minutes of workshopping ideas, and a general discussion with the MAB Youth Delegates and Focal Points present at the meeting.
Your ideas and experiences will directly go towards informing the positions that our delegation provides to the negotiations taking place to develop the next decade of the Convention’s structure, that we highlight and action at Side-Events, and that we work towards implementing within the Programme to ensure that the young people of the programme are able to effectively engage on the Programmes’ structure.
To do this, we’ve organized a consultation for this Sunday the 27th of November at 11:00PM Sydney time / 01:00PM Central European Time / 12:00PM UTC, running for approximately 1 hour.

Any and all levels of experience are welcome. For more updates on COP15, keep an eye out for our communications in the coming days and weeks!
Regards,
