Global Workshop on Digital Sequence Information and Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture

The Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (Commission) will consider at its next Session (July 2023) the role of digital sequence information for the conservation and sustainable use of genetic resources for food and agriculture (GRFA) and the sharing of benefits derived from them.

Prior to its next session and in response to the Commission’s request, the Global Workshop on Digital Sequence Information and Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture will be held on 14 & 15 November 2022 at 12:30 PM CEST (check day 1 time here). The workshop will be held virtually with simultaneous interpretation provided in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.

This opportunity is particularly suited towards researchers and other young professionals seeking further understanding or involvement in agricultural genetics and associated subjects.
