The 15th Conference of Parties of the Convention on Biological Diversity is fast approaching, and the MAB Youth Networks, UNESCO, and our partner organizations are working on a number of opportunities to be engaged in this process into the coming months.
Our partner organization and official coordination platform for youth participation of the CBD, the Global Youth Biodiversity Network, are calling for applications for an international youth delegation to join COP 15 in Montreal. Those selected by GYBN will be funded to attend COP 15.
In addition to GYBN funding successful applicants, UNESCO is working to secure further funding to cover a delegation of MAB Youth to COP 15.
We encourage all MAB Youth who’re interested in participating in COP 15 to apply through GYBN’s application process. By applying to this application and stating “MAB Youth” under the “affiliation” question, you’ll be considered for GYBN’s funding, and may be contacted by UNESCO and your application considered for their funding.
